The Turkish army and their allied gangs, who were not satisfied with invading part of Shehba and increased their attacks to invade Efrîn, were faced with the resistance of YPG/YPJ fighters in Ayn Daqnê. The Turkish gangs had to abandon 9 out of their 30 casualties and return to Azaz. The fighters in the Ayn Daqnê village spoke to the ANF.
YPG fighter Çekdar Rotarîda said the Turkish army pushed their gangs forward at once and waited behind them to coordinate and provide technical support and that this joint attack has been broken.
THEY LEFT THEM BEHIND AND RAN
Çekdar Rotarîda said the attack was not only broken but that the army and the gangs abandoned several bodies and armored vehicles and continued: “Among these bodies there were also Turkish soldiers. We are now waiting in our positions. Our answer to any and all attacks and invasion attempts will be harsh.”
IT IS NOT JUST A VILLAGE
YPG fighter Rotarîda said the goal of the Turkish army and their gangs is not just to attack a village, but to continue from there and launch an attack on Minix Airport, and then a large scale attack on Efrîn, and added: “The attacks were not successful, and they won’t be. Not the invading Turkish army, not their pet gangs will be able to pass these positions. Invaders can’t pass.”
EFRÎN WILL ALWAYS BE FREE
Arjîn Agirî, a YPJ fighter in the positions in Ayn Daqnê, said their positions are being attacked with a large-scale human and technical power and that all the fighters display a serious and resolved resistance. YPJ fighter Agirî added: “Efrîn will continue to be free. We don’t accept this attempt to invade Efrîn and we don’t accept the invasion elsewhere in our country. The Turkish state will be kept away from Efrîn.”
