Yûsif: Meddling into Northern Syria is playing with the fire

Co-chair of the Northern Syria Democratic Federal System Executive Council Yûsif stated that: "The Turkish state's interference in Northern Syria is a game with the fire."
Northern Syria Democratic Federal System Executive Council Co-chair Foza Yûsif held yesterday a speech at the 3rd meeting of the Northern Syria Democratic Federal System Constituent Assembly and spoke about the future of Syria and the developments in the region. Yûsif stated: "The real negotiations will take place after the liberation of Raqqa and Deir Ez-Zor, and Raqqa will become the capital of the peoples’ fraternity."
Foza Yûsif stressed that five years have already passed since the July 19 Revolution, continuing: "A right assessment of the current political and military state of affairs is indispensable. We therefore need to lay out work plans in accordance with that. The war in Syria is still ongoing, instigated by international powers and local states."
Yûsif pointed to the world war that is being waged on the soil of the Middle East aimed at invading and controlling the Syrian land. She continued: "The actual world war waged between the US and Russia is clearly visible in Raqqa, Deir Ez-Zor and the borders of the triangle of Syria, Jordan and Iraq. Each of them are trying to gain control over strategically important regions. That side which is capable of conducting an effective military and political scheme, will be the one to have the final say in the negotiations. Concerning the local forces, Turkey's strategic policy in Syria already failed."
“TURKEY IS PLAYING WITH THE FIRE”
Foza Yûsif emphasized that the efforts of Turkey to become a big player in the operation to liberate Raqqa were foiled and added: "For this reason Turkey is putting all its energy into sabotaging the Raqqa Operation or at least drag its liberation out as much as possible. Turkey's recent attacks on the Efrîn Canton and the Shehba region is the continuation of its dogged effort to save ISIS from their certain demise. Not only this aspect, but also the frustration of Turkey's strategy in Syria, made it live through a sensitive situation. The revealment of the coordination of all US military bases in Northern Syria by the Turkish state's Anatolian News Agency (AA), makes it evident how much Turkey is playing with fire. If the world shows no reaction against its actions, Turkey will burn its fingers with this fire."
“EGYPT INSTEAD OF TURKEY”
Foza Yûsif stated that the Egypt state has been put in charge in lieu of Turkey, because Egypt seems a more secular state that puts up against Salafism, saying: "The role given to Egypt to play will become profound anytime soon. This also alludes that the Sunni block, represented by Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, has reached its breaking point and through Egypt a new block is expected to take form."
Foza Yûsif evaluated the political and military state of affairs as well as the stance of the Ba'ath regime and the National Coalition towards the crisis the region is facing, as follows: "The Syrian regime is trying to enforce its rule on some strategic regions (as Deir Ez-Zor) with the help of Russia. As for the National Coalition, they are politically and militarily in a very bad shape and have managed it to derail the Syrian Revolution from its originally democratic, national and libertarian character. They have moreover traded the values and principles of the Syrian people for money and some personal benefits. Today the Coalition is trying hard to topple the successes which have been earned with the July 19 Revolution by the democratic and Kurdish forces. They put forward abysmal claims that the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) is allegedly carrying out terroristic acts in order to get the Democratic Union Party (PYD) and the SDF on the terror list. They also make no secret of their chauvinism and nationalism against the Kurdish people and democratic forces, which make daily profound accomplishments politically and militarily. The National Coalition intends herewith to back the ISIS gangs and lighten their burden."
Yûsif called in her speech also on the Syrian Kurds National Council (ENKS) to break away from the National Coalition, saying: "Time has come also for the ENKS and all forces that claim to be democratic, to break away from the chauvinistic and nationalistic Coalition, which targets only the values of the people. Those ones, who are in whatever kind involved in criminal and damaging acts, will never be forgiven by the people and by history."
“REAL NEGOTIATIONS WILL TAKE PLACE AFTER RAQQA’S LIBERATION”
Foza Yûsif stated that the much-discussed Geneva meetings are merely a formality, and said: "Before the liberation of Raqqa and Deir Ez-Zor there will be no productive negotiations whatsoever. The participants draft prepared by the United Nations and the meetings that are held, are only delaying time. In terms of the Astana meetings, Russia is putting all its efforts into splitting the military forces in Rojava and Northern Syria in order to be able to enforce its rule on the region in the near future. Russia is trying to use Turkey for its own interests, to succeed in its plans."
“RAQQA WILL BECOME THE CAPITAL OF FRATERNITY OF PEOPLES”
Foza Yûsif remarked that the Raqqa city will become the capital of the peoples' fraternity and ended her speech with following words: "The July 19 Revolution sparked off in Kobanê and expanded to all liberated areas. The spring of the people began with this revolution. Kobanê became the capital of humanity with its unshakeable stance against the ISIS gangs. And Raqqa, for the liberation of which all the peoples of the entire region shed their blood, will become the capital of the brotherhood of the peoples. No matter what happens, on no account will chauvinism, nationalism and religious fanaticism be tolerated. Our motto is fraternity of all peoples and victory for the Northern Syria Democratic Federal System."
