A committee from the Labour Party visited Qamishlo and met with Northern Syrian Federation institutions.

The visit was held after the Turkish state invaded Afrin, and the Labour Party aims to show solidarity with Kurds.

House of Lords member Maurice Glasman said, “We are here to form a long lasting relationship with you and to support you against all who wish to tear down your freedom and democracy.”

Glasman spoke in the press conference held in Qamishlo and said: “We came to show you that we are in solidarity with you with all our hearts.”

The British committee is expected to visit Kobanê, the symbol of resistance against ISIS on Wednesday.
