Sakine Cansız (Sara) took the flag of women's resistance and became a source of struggle for all women. Women learned how to fight without giving up from her. It is possible to see the reality of women's liberation ideology embodied in life in her struggle. She showed how women would resist by knowing and understanding their historical responsibilities. Living according to the values she believed in was her basic principle.

She left a spirituality and value that led to greater fighting and success. She was a revolutionary woman with her head held high, bold and pure in heart.

She captured the most meaningful basis of comradeship in the squares of resistance, in her intellectual intensity, in her emotional world and in her whole personality. She will always live in our hearts and history will not forget.

Sara left traces of women's resistance everywhere. She did not bow to the fascists while she was in prison in order to be the voice, struggle and name of women all over the world. She is a leading voice for not only Kurdish women, but all women in the world. She became a rising voice and guide in a time when the system wanted to  destroy women. She took the steps that no one dared to take, with determination and courage.

They wanted to take revenge on all the women who fought in the person of Sara. The system aimed to destroy the struggle started by Sara and to destroy the free woman. The enemy feared her resistance, her struggle. With her resistance in the prison in Amed, her organizing spirit, and her character that did not bow to injustice, she became the enemy's nightmare.

The 9 January 2013 Massacre in Paris was an indicator of how afraid the system is of women's power. But Sara became an unforgettable symbol in everyone's hearts with her struggle and upright stance. One Sara became thousands of Saras. She became eternal in this struggle by creating Saras with a great love and fighting spirit. Thousands of Saras carry her banner.
