Two girls and two women killed, 12 women kidnapped in Afrin

The Human Rights Organization Afrin reported that the Turkish forces have murdered at least two girls and two women and kidnapped 12 women in Afrin since the beginning of the year.

The Human Rights Organization Afrin announced on Thursday a report on crimes committed against women since the beginning of the year in the Afrin Canton which has been occupied by Turkey and allied jihadist mercenaries since 2018.

Among those murdered are two girls, one of whom is three years old.

The organization revealed the names of three murdered individuals: Ezîze Îbrahîm (41), Semire Elwan (3), Fatme Elwan (9). The name of the fourth person could not be learned.

The list of the abducted civilians is as follows:

-Rohat Îbo (24), Nisrîn Mihemed Weqas (30) from Kaxirê village of Mabeta district.

-A child named Kewkeb Elî from Cidirêsê and Xeyriyê Mihemed Musa (40).

-Xedice Osa from Qitmê village of Shera district.

- Asya Ehmed Heyder and Firyal Hesen Hesen (52) from Afrin downtown.

-Mûne El-Mekrum (45) from Dêrsiwan village of Shera district.

-Asian Hisên Musa (60) from Qude village of Raco district.

-Hevi Mihemed Eli (18).

War crimes have been committed systematically and almost on a daily basis in the region since 2018, when Afrin was occupied. A complete terror regime has been established in the occupied area.

According to the human rights organization, 84 women have been murdered, more than 6 women have committed suicide after being raped, more than 1000 women have been abducted and more than 70 have been raped since Afrin was invaded. It is further reported that at least 216 women were injured during the invasion attacks.
