Applications start for the 9th London Kurdish Film Festival

Applications have begun to be accepted for the biggest Kurdish Film Festival in the world, the London Kurdish Film Festival.

Applications have begun to be accepted for the biggest Kurdish Film Festival in the world, the London Kurdish Film Festival. Starting in 2001, this year’s festival is the 9th festival to be organised. These festivals have brought together hundreds of full length movies, short films and documentaries from the 4 parts of Kurdistan, the Middle East and Europe. The 9th London Kurdish Film Festival will take place between 13-22 November 2015 at the Hackney Picture House.

The Yılmaz Güney Short Film Competition will also be held for the 5th time at the festival. The deadline for applications is 1 June. The organising committee accepts applications from all 4 parts of Kurdistan via the agencies in Kurdistan to facilitate the applications of those who want to send their films.
