The Euphrates Canton Girê Spî Assembly Culture and Arts Committee continues preparations for the 5th Girê Spî Culture and Arts Festival. The festival will be held in Ain Issa at the end of October with the participation of many artists.

According to the Preparation Committee, Kurdish, Arab and Armenian folklore groups and artists from Kobanê, Tabqa, Raqqa, Girê Spî will participate in the festival.

Girê Spî Assembly Culture and Arts Committee Executive Board Member Îbrahim El Îsa said about the festival preparations: "We have reached the final stage of the festival preparations. There is a possibility that the festival will start next weekend. The groups that will participate in the festival are also continuing their preparations."

The first culture and arts festival was held in Girê Spî in August 2017. After Girê Spî was occupied by the Turkish state in 2019, the 3rd and 4th festivals were held in Ain Issa.
