SOHR: 745 Alawite civilians killed since Thursday

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that forces affiliated with the HTS government in Damascus have killed at least 745 Alawite civilians since Thursday.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said in a statement on Saturday, that "745 Alawite civilians have been killed by security forces and affiliated groups on the Syrian coast and in the mountainous areas of Latakia" since Thursday.

SOHR said that a total of 273 people from the armed forces affiliated with Damascus and the Alawite armed forces have been killed, bringing the death toll to 1,018.

In images published on social media, forces affiliated with the Damascus government, which consist of groups originating from al-Qaeda and ISIS, are seen carrying out massacres. Mass executions, torture, inhuman treatment, detention and looting are rampant. There are testimonies that groups supported by the Turkish state were also involved in the massacres.
