Documentary director Sibel Tekin's house in Ankara was raided on Friday as part of an investigation carried out by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Tekin's two computers, a large number of hard disks containing documentary works, cameras and some books were seized.
It was learned that the reason for Tekin's detention, who was taken to Ankara Police Department, was the claim that she also shot a police vehicle while shooting workers going to work in the dark hours in Tuzluçayır for a project she was preparing.
Detention extended
Tekin’s detention period was extended for one more day due to the examination of digital materials seized in her house.
