Police forces earlier today raided the office of Özgür Radio, one of the 23 opposition radio and television networks closed by RTÜK (Radio and Television Supreme Council) in line with a Statutory Decree issued during the State of Emergency that began following the coup attempt of July 15.
16 people including radio employees and journalists covering the raid were taken into custody by police who broke the door of the radio office and forcibly got inside.
