KCDK-E condemns the murder of free media workers Gulistan Tara and Hêro Bahadîn

The KCDK-E condemned the murder of free media workers Gulistan Tara and Hêro Bahadîn and called "on all countries to take action to organize protests."

In a written statement, the KCDK-E co-chairs said that "press workers, who have never stepped back in their struggle to be the voice of truth despite all the pressures and arrests, continue to be targets in the dirty war."

The statement added: "The genocidal Turkish state continues its massacres in Kurdistan brutally. It continues to carry out the Kurdish genocide using all methods at its disposal. Dictator Erdoğan and his fascist Turkish army killed two free media workers with drones in the Seyîdsadiq district of Sulaymaniyah (Silêmanî) on Friday.

The Turkish army committed a massacre by bombing a vehicle carrying journalists. Free media workers Gulistan Tara and Hêro Bahadîn were killed in the attack.

The two journalists continued to carry out their work in Kurdistan, struggling to bring the genocidal attacks carried out by the Turkish state against the Kurdish people and the KDP's collaborative treasonous line to the agenda. They have fearlessly exposed the corruption of the treacherous KDP and the Barzani Family."

The statement continued: "We call on our people in all areas of Europe to support the struggle of two free press workers who were targeted by the attacks of the Turkish state through the KDP and to take to the streets to protest this massacre. The fascist Turkish state, the AKP, has intensified the massacres and attacks with the direct support of the traitorous KDP. We call on all people to immediately take action to organize protests to condemn the massacre that took place on Friday."
