Police detain Mezopotamya Agency journalist Emrullah Acar - UPDATE
Mezopotamya Agency journalist Emrullah Acar was detained as a result of the political genocide operation. Another person, Hivda Sarılmaz, was taken into custody in Bingöl.
As part of an investigation carried out by the Malatya Public Prosecutor's Office for "membership in a terrorist organization", the house of Mezopotamya Agency (MA) journalist, Emrullah Acar, was raided in the morning. Journalist Acar was detained after the search.
Acar's computer and camera card were confiscated.
Journalist Acar is expected to be taken to Malatya from the Urfa Police Department.
Bingöl
Hivda Sarılmaz was detained in Bingöl as part of the investigation carried out by the Malatya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Sarılmaz is also expected to be taken to Malatya.
