Journalist Ali Ibrahim, who worked for many press organizations including free media in Shengal, has lost his life due to serious health problems.

Journalist Ibrahim had been receiving treatment in a hospital in Duhok for three days and passed away on Saturday morning.

Ibrahim worked for Çira FM for 5 years, then moved to Êzidî 24 and was most recently was working as a reporter at Zêwa News.

Ibrahim's body was taken from Duhok by his family and brought to Shengal on Saturday. The remains of the journalist were brought to his house in the village of Serdeşta Kolka in Shengal and buried after a ceremony at the Shebiqasim Cemetery.

A condolence tent was set up for journalist Ali Ibrahim in front of his house in the village of Kolka.
