The National Union of Journalists (Syndicat National Des Journalistes -SNJ) sent postcards to 16 Kurdish journalists who were arrested after being detained in Amed (tr: Diyarbakır) on 8 June. The union, which prepared postcards to show solidarity with the arrested journalists, stated that they aimed to expand solidarity and to keep the situation of imprisoned journalists on the agenda.
