2 MİT members killed in Şêx Meqsûd

The Sultan Murad Brigade, Ahrar Al-Sham, Furqeya 16’an, Al Fetih Brigade, Jaysh Al-Mucahidîn, Festeqim Kema Emert Group, Nûreddîn Zenkî and El Nusra gangs in AKP-guided would-be Syrian National Coalition (SNC) have been attacking Aleppo’s Şêx Meqsûd neighborhood non-stop since February.
On April 5, the gangs launched an intense attack on Şêx Meqsûd from Seken Şebab, Seken Şikeyf, Sera Muxeberat and Eşrefiyê regions. The gang attacks condinued on April 6 as well. 19 civilians lost their lives in the attacks and 80 others were wounded.
Intense clashes erupted when YPG/YPJ forces retaliated against the aggression. According to the statement from YPG Press Center, one tank and one ammuniton warehouse were destroyed, while 36 gang members were killed and 70 wounded.
GANG GROUPS
According to reliable sources, 7 of the killed gang members were from El Nusra, 6 from Nuredîn Zenkî Movement, 5 from Sultan Murat Brigade, 8 from Festeqim Kema Emert Group and 2 were from Siwar El-Şam.
5 of these gang members were found out to be emirs. According to reliable sources, the names of the killed gang members are: Ehrar El-Şam Ebdullrehman Ecûz emir, Suwar El-Şam Battalion emir Ridwan El-Helebî and Mihemed Elî Firnawî, Ehfad El-Hemze Brigade emir Basil Mihemed and Firqeya El-Şimaliye (Bakur) emir Ebdullkerîm El-Yihya.
TURKEY’S INVOLVEMENT AND THE DEAD MİT MEMBERS
The same sources claim 2 of the 5 members of the Sultan Murat Brigade gang were Turkish and used code names of Doğan and Aslan. Sources cite both Turkish gang members are also members of the Turkish intelligence agency, MİT.
