In Nusaybin district of Mardin where genocidal attacks of Turkish military and police forces continue, the popular resistance led by Civilian Defense Units YPS / YPS-JIN is not allowing state forces to advance into the areas of self-rule.

As the district has witnessed heavy clashes throughout the day, an armored vehicle of Turkish forces was targeted by a rocket attack Friday evening.

2 members of special operations forces were killed and 4 others were wounded as a result of the action which left the vehicle unusable.

The wounded Turkish security members have been taken to Nusaybin Public Hospital.
