The operation to liberate Manbij, which was renamed as “Operation Martyr Commander Faysal Abu Leyla” after his fall, continues on its 56th day with violent clashes in a number of areas.
Besides the heavy fighting with ISIS groups, fighters affiliated to the Manbij Military Council also continue evacuating the civilians in Manbij city center.
The Council fighters have today transferred 200 more families to safe areas after rescuing them from Al-Neyîm, Al-Keclî neighborhoods and Al-Beta crossing where they had been stranded.
Fighters enabled the access of civilians to liberated areas at the risk of their own lives amid the ongoing battle.
