50 NGOs denounce Turkey to the UN in Sulaymaniyah

Representatives of several organizations met with UN officials and submitted them a complaint petition denouncing the genocidal attacks of the Turkish state in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq).

As many as 50 non-governmental organizations have denounced the Turkish invasion of South Kurdistan to the United Nations (UN) office in Sulaymaniyah city.

According to RojNews agency, Milko Bazyani, Secretary of the Kurdistan Greens Party said they have met with UN officials in the name of 50 NGOs and submitted them a complaint petition.

Bazyani vowed to follow the process closely, saying, “The nature of Kurdistan is our red line. We will stand against any party or state to lay hands on it. Nature and environment are a fundamental right which we reclaim.”

Nali Hewrê Dilşad from the Organization of Intellectuals said they would discuss this issue with the Iraqi parliament and other concerned parties.
