6 soldiers and 4 police killed in actions by guerrillas

HPG reported that 6 soldiers and 4 special operations police were killed in the most recent actions by guerrillas.

People's Defense Forces Press Office (HPG-BIM) reported in a written statement that guerrillas conducted a sabotage action targeting an armored vehicle of Turkish forces near Kozberi village in Mardin's Derik district at July 25 noon. The armored vehicle was destroyed as a result of the action, which left 4 special operations police dead and 5 others wounded.

On July 24, guerrillas carried out a comprehensive action targeting 5 outposts in (Colemerg) Çukurca district of Hakkari.

Guerrillas hit the Karataş outpost at 05:30, as a result of which 2 soldiers were killed. During the same hours, guerrillas hit the soldiers outside 49 outpost, which left 1 soldier dead.

Guerrillas also targeted the Gırê, Êriş and Hill Orte outposts, leaving 3 soldiers dead and 1 other wounded.

HPG said this comprehensive action was dedicated to martyr Roni Siyabend.

HPG announced the ID detail of a guerrilla who has been verified to have fallen a martyr during an expansive action in Oremar-Şemzinan area on July 8. The ID details of the fallen guerrilla are;
