75-year-old killed by state forces in Van
An elderly civilian has been killed in the aggression of state forces on Xaçort neighborhood of Van in the wake of a blast that hit an armored vehicle.
A blast has occurred as an armored vehicle passed by Xaçort (Hacıbekir) neighborhood Tuesday afternoon. 1 soldier died, 2 other soldiers and 1 special operations police were wounded in the blast. One more special operations police was injured during a clash that followed the explosion.
State forces laid a siege on the neighborhood in the wake of the blast and started an aggression, which killed 75-year-old Tahir Çaylak.
The man's body remains on the Çulhacı Street where he has been murdered, and ambulances are not allowed access to the scene.
