A huge explosion took place as a freight train passed by Kavilk area in Saray district of Van while heading towards Kapıköy Border Gate Saturday afternoon.

Two machinists were injured and the wagons derailed as a result of the explosion after which ambulances and military vehicles were dispatched to the scene.
