Roboskî (Ortasu) and Bejûh (Gülyazı) villages in Şırnak’s Uludere district have seen increased military activity for the last couple of days, and now a curfew has been declared. The curfew went into effect at 03.00 a.m. last night.
The curfew imposed by Uludere District Governorate was announced from the speakers in the mosque and armored vehicles of Turkish forces. The curfew is open ended.
The military activity in Uludere had reached intense levels yesterday . Gunshots were heard from Dündağ Military Base Zone on the border with Southern Kurdistan. No concrete information could be reached yet regarding any possible clashes.
