9 people including DBP Co-Mayor Şerafettin Özalp were detained in Van’s Özalp district. Şerafettin Özalp and the Municipal Council members were detained in house raids in the early morning hours and taken to the police headquarters.

Names of the detainees are: Co-Mayor Şerafettin Özalp, Raif Basut, Cengiz Savaşlı, Nevzat Ulusal, Leyla Tosun, Bayram Önen, Hekim Okatmaz, Ferdi Eryaşar, Fatih Keleş.

6 PEOPLE ARRESTED IN ERZURUM AND ISTANBUL

Meanwhile, the 6 people detained 2 days ago in Erzurum and İstanbul have been arrested. Their names are: Yunus Seven, Murat Bülbül, Ünal Güneş, Savaş Çiftçi and Özcan Acar.

Çayan Kahraman, detained in İstanbul related to the case file, was also arrested.
