Death toll from yesterday's suicide attack in Hesekê city of Rojava (West) Kurdistan rose to 20 and 17 victims have been identified.

A huge explosion occurred in Salihiyê neighborhood of Hesekê at around 19:45 Tuesday evening. According to witnesses, the blast occurred when a suicide bomber blew himself up near the Sala bakery after getting off a motorbike and moving towards the crowd in the area.

While the death toll has risen to 20 Wednesday afternoon, 17 of the victims, who are all civilians and include children, have been identified as follows;
