Death toll in Qamishlo massacre rises to 52

Two more bodies have been recovered from the rubbles in Qamishlo, bringing the death toll in Wednesday's bomb attack to 52.

Search and rescue efforts continue in Qamishlo’s Xerbî neighborhood in the aftermath of the truck bomb attack on July 27.

Two more bodies have been recovered Friday afternoon from the rubbles of the buildings that were demolished in the attack.

An official statement made earlier today said 50 people lost their lives and 177 more were wounded in the attack that targeted civilians. While  the Martyrs’ Families Council announced the names of 44 out of 50 people who were killed in the massacre, 9 people still remain unaccounted for.
