As the operation to liberate Manbij continues for the 38th uninterrupted day, Manbij Military Council combatants are making advances in the neighborhood of Hezawnê, one of the largest neighborhoods of the Manbij city.

Fighters had launched an offensive 4 days ago to liberate the neighborhood which extends up to the southern and southwestern sides of the city. The offensive launched from two sides is witnessing violent clashes for 4 days now.

Combatants have inflicted heavy blows on the gangs and liberated many strategic locations from the ISIS gangs during the offensive. 60 percent of the neighborhood is under the control of the Manbij Military Council fighters who now have 1 km left to the busiest center of the city.

A number of gang members have been killed and a large quantity of ammunition belonging to them has been seized during the past 4 days of heavy clashes.
