Gerîla TV has published footage from an action in which guerrillas hit Turkish military forces in the countryside of Hakkari province in Northern Kurdistan.

According to the statement published by HPG Press Office, guerrillas carried out a sabotage action against a Turkish military vehicle on move from the Çarçella area in Zagros region towards the Şemdinli district at 08:40 on July 18.

The statement said that the vehicle was struck near the Gemane military post as part of the Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Campaign.

“While the vehicle was destroyed completely, 7 soldiers in it were killed, including a lieutenant and a counter-guerrilla, and one other soldier was wounded. Following the action, the occupation forces launched an operation and retrieved the casualties from the scene,” said the HPG statement.
