Gerilla TV has released footage from the guerrilla action targeting Turkish soldiers in Şırnak's Risor area on May 11.

HPG (People's Defense Forces) Press Office said in a written statement on the footage that 5 soldiers had been killed as a result of the sabotage action, the footage of which shows them getting killed on a hill where they had been deployed.

HPG remarked that the war-mongering Turkish media manipulated the truth in Kurdistan, stressing that HPG will continue to expose the real dimensions and data of the war as part of their historic duty to the people and the public opinion.

HPG recalled that guerrillas had conducted a sabotage action targeting the Turkish soldiers participating in an operation in Deriyê Sêwo area near the Kaniya Kaymakam village of Şırnak on May 11. Three soldiers were killed in the sabotage action which was accompanied by assassination actions that left 2 more soldiers dead.
