Gerîla TV has published footage of a strike by the Şehîd Delal Air Defense Units targeting the Turkish occupation forces on Hill Zendûra in the region of Metina in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq).

The airstrike was carried out at 12 p.m. on May 10. The press center of the People's Defense Forces (HPG) had announced on the same day that the action was successful and that the occupying forces were hit on target.

The HPG's air defense units made their first public appearance in June 2020 during resistance to the Turkish invasion of Heftanin. The following month, Doğa Zilan, a member, was martyred in action in Heftanin for the first time. The fighter of the women's guerrilla force YJA-Star had struck Turkish invading forces at the Şehîd Bêrîvan hill with an aircraft loaded with explosives.
