Gerilla TV released the footage of the roadblock and sabotage action guerrillas carried out in Van’s Çaldıran district on May 24.

HPG Media Center stated that 6 vehicles belonging to the state were destroyed during the block action on the road between Van’s Çaldıran and Ağrı’s Bazid districts at 11:30 on May 24.

Guerrillas carried out a sabotage action against an armored vehicle that had arrived at the site of the action around 17:00 on the same day. The armored vehicle was destroyed and more than 9 soldiers including Çaldıran District Gendarme Commander Major Kıvanç Cesur and 2 sergeants were killed here.
