Gerîla TV released footage of the action carried out by guerrillas in Metina on 2 June. The HPG Press Center shared the following information about the action: “On 2 June, the invaders on the Martyr Çiya Hill in the Metina region were taken under control by our forces. At 7.30 pm, a coordinated guerrilla action from 3 separate directions was carried out against these invaders. The first arm targeted two posts and destroyed them. The invaders were killed. The second arm targeted and shot the invaders who tried to escape down the hill. A high-ranking officer was killed. The third arm the radar on the top and destroyed it.

In this action a total of 4 invaders were killed, including a high-ranking officer, 2 invaders were injured, 2 positions and 1 radar were destroyed. The invaders took their dead and wounded with Skorsky helicopters at 9.30 pm."
