HPG guerillas carried out an action against a group of police officers on the road to Seyrantepe housing complex in Amed city center, which left 4 officers killed and another 3 injured. Another guerrilla action in Erciş district of Van left 20 JÖH members dead and 16 others injured.
HPG Media Center issued a written statement on the actions that continue increasingly in North Kurdistan.
AMED
HPG announced that a guerilla unit carried out an action against a group of police officers on the road to Seyrantepe housing complex in Amed city center at 11:30 on July 10. 4 police officers got killed and another 3 got injured during the action, which was dedicated to the guerillas that fell as martyrs during the operation in Lice. The dead and injured police officers were evacuated with armored vehicles after the action.
SİİRT
HPG Media Center said guerillas carried out an action against the soldiers positioned at the Şuxa hill in Siirt’s Garısa region at 18:30 on July 11. The number of dead and injured soldiers couldn't be clarified.
HAKKARİ
Another action by guerrillas targeted a convoy of soldiers near the Bembo area between the villages of Tirinos and Derya in Hakkari’s Şemzinan district on July 10. HPG Media Center said they will release more detailed information on this action once available.
VAN
Guerillas carried out a comprehensive sabotage action against the soldiers at the Pay Gendarme Outpost in Van’s Erciş district in the evening of July 9. 20 members of gendarme special operations forces (JÖH) were killed and another 16 were injured as a result of the action.
