HPG Media Center announced that guerrilla forces carried out actions in Silvan, Uludere and Çukurca. In its statement, HPG also shared information on the Turkish army’s attacks in Dersim, Şırnak and Sason.

OPERATION IN DERSİM

HPG stated that the Turkish army launched an operation in the Rojdere region of Dersim and Turkish warplanes bombarded Zel, Martyr Hogır and Orta Sırt areas at 11:30 on April 7 after the reconnaissance flights of drones around 08:00 on the same day. HPG noted that Skorsky-type helicopters deployed soldiers to Zel and Orta Sırt at 13:00 and Kobra-type helicopters bombarded Dola Martyr Şahan, Zel and Rojdere regions at 13:00 and 19:00. HPG announced that its guerrillas infiltrated Orta Sırt during the bombardment and carried out an action against Turkish soldiers, and the numbers of dead and injured soldiers have not yet been identified. HPG added that Kobra-type helicopters bombarded Rojdere at 08:00 on April 8 but Turkish forces retreated without yielding any results around 13:30 on the same day.

ACTION AGAINST COUNTER-GUERILLA UNITS IN SİLVAN

In its statement, HPG said that guerrillas responded to the ambushes counter-guerrillas led by Erhan Koçağa made in Mala Elike mountains located in Amed’s Silvan district at 20:00 on April 8. HPG noted that one counter-guerrilla died and another got injured, and 1 minibus was burned during the action. HPG announced that its guerrillas seized the military equipments belonging to the counter-guerrillas, and carried out the action as a response to the martyrdom of the guerrillas that lost their lives in Sason.

ACTIONS IN ULUDERE AND ÇUKURCA

HPG stated that state forces accompanied by Kobra-type helicopters used Skorsky-type helicopters to deploy soldiers at the Şehidan Hill located in Şırnak’s Uludere district between 08:00 and 09:00 on April 9, and positioned a tank, an earth digger, and several soldiers on the Martyr Lezgin hill at 10:00 on the same day. HPG guerrillas responded to these developments with heavy weaponry, and 2 soldiers died and the digger was damaged.

HPG also announced that its guerrillas carried out an action against the Tepê Ortê military post in Hakkari’s Çukurca district at 10:00 on April 9 with B7 rocket launchers. The numbers of dead and injured soldiers have not yet been clarified, and soldiers at the Tepê Ortê post bombarded nearby areas after the action.
