Guerrilla Erdal Amed called on the Kurdish youth to "turn towards the mountains."

Speaking to ANF, guerrilla Amed said: “There is resistance in these mountains and victories are won every day. There is an orientation to our people in the mountains, prisons and cities. Our leadership is showing great resistance against the enemy. This resistance is an oath of revenge for us. Our honour and dignity is our country and our people. Our people should also turn towards the mountains. Because the biggest self-defense areas of the Kurdish people are the mountains. Wherever they are, the Kurdish youth should never let their anger towards the enemy subside. They should come to the mountains and the guerrillas. We will snatch freedom with our fingernails, fighting shoulder to shoulder against the enemy. We believe this.”
