The HPG said in a statement that “Dîlan, Hebûn, Hevî, Ezda, Tolhildan and Mizgîn fought on the front lines against the Turkish occupiers of Kurdistan and that they have taken an unforgettable place in the history of the liberation movement. The HPG expressed their condolences to the families of the fallen.

Dîlan Serdar came from Selmas in Eastern Kurdistan and grew up in a family environment that is known for its patriotism. She fought in Kandil, Zap, Gare, Xakurke and Kerkûk and gained great experience, which she later put into practice as a commander in Botan in North Kurdistan.

Hebûn Zozan was born and raised in Van-Erdîş. She joined the guerrilla and studied the philosophy of Abdullah Öcalan and the women's liberation struggle in the mountains. Most recently she fought in Botan.

Hêvî Firat grew up as the daughter of a family from Serhad in Kocaeli in western Turkey. Her family had to leave Kurdistan due to the Turkish state policy, but still remained connected to traditional Kurdish values. Hêvî joined to the guerrilla and fought in the Medya defense areas, in Shengal and Botan.

Ezda Dirbirîn was born in Kobanê and grew up in a family connected to the Kurdish liberation struggle. She joined the guerrilla in 2012 and fought in Garê, Avaşîn, Zap and Metîna before heading north to Botan.

Tolhildan Zevkî was born in Van and grew up in an environment badly affected by the repression of the Turkish state. In order not to bow to the pressure, he joined the guerrilla. There he grew quickly and fought as a commander in a leading position in North Kurdistan.

Mizgîn Çekdar was born in Adana. She came from a Kurdish family who retained their patriotism even in the most difficult times. She got to know the PKK at a young age and joined the guerrillas in Botan.
