HPG Media Center announced the results of many actions carried out across North Kurdistan, and said that guerillas inflicted heavy blows upon the Turkish army in Şemdinli, Çukurca, Amed, Şırnak and Van. HPG also released the ID information of the 7 guerillas that fell as martyrs in Beytüşşebap and Van.

ACTION IN ŞEMDİNLİ TO COMMEMORATE LİCE MARTYRS

According to the statement, guerillas carried out an assassination action from 3 directions against the soldiers at Hakkari’s Şemdinli District Outpost at 18:50 on July 10, as a result of which 3 soldiers were killed. Soldiers from the Şemzinan Brigade and Radyolik outpost randomly attacked the area around the outposts after the action, and the army evacuated the bodies of dead soldiers with Sikorsky helicopters. HPG dedicated the action to the guerillas that fell as martyrs in Lice.

ACTION AGAINST THE BRIGADE IN ÇUKURCA

Guerillas carried out another action with heavy weaponry against the soldiers at the Brigade Command in Hakkari’s Çukurca district at 18:00 on July, during which a group of soldiers as well as the lodging and other buildings of the command were hit. The numbers of dead and injured soldiers couldn't be clarified, and the army evacuated the bodies of dead soldiers with 7 ambulances.

SOLDIERS MASSACRED CIVILIANS

HPG noted that a civilian vehicle got caught in the crossfire during the action in Çukurova, and 2 civilians died and 6 civilians got injured during this incident. The Media Center said that the civilians were killed and injured because of the random shot panicked soldiers of the Turkish army fired during the clashes.

ACTIONS CONTINUE TO SPREAD

Guerillas carried out a sabotage action against a power line in between Şırnak Brigade and the Governor Çeşme Outpost between 13:00 and 14:00 on July 8, and the power line was destroyed here.

In another action, guerillas blocked the Kulp-Farqin (Silvan) road in Amed and checked IDs at 15:00 on July 10. Turkish soldiers randomly shelled the area and caused a fire after the HPG action.

The statement reported that Turkish warplanes bombarded the area between the villages of Germaw and Geznex in Şırnak’s Beytüşşebap district on July 4-5. Clashes broke out between the guerillas and the soldiers in this region, during which 5 guerillas fell as martyrs, the ID information of whom are as follows;

ACTION IN VAN

The Media Center stated that clashes broke out between the guerillas preparing for an action and soldiers on an operation between the outposts of Bableşin and Albayrak in Van’s Başkale district at 18:00 on July 8. Two guerillas fell as martyrs during the clashes here, and their ID information is the following:
