The advance of fighters in the Martyr Commander Abu Leyla Operation that was launched on June 1 continues in the city center.

ISIS gangs trapped in a narrow area in Manbij city center attacked 3 positions last night to break the siege.

The gangs attacked Oseclî village in the southwest of the city, Zonxil village in the northwest and Til Um Serac on the southern front which has strategic importance. The Manbij Military Council fighters retaliated immediately to the gang attacks and as a result clashes broke out. The attacks were pushed back following a couple of hours of clashes.

Dozens of gang members were killed in the attacks and 14 bodies were seized by the Manbij fighters. 2 bomb-laden vehicles belonging to the gangs were seized and destroyed.

Manbij Military Council fighters conducted search missions in the area after they pushed the attacks back. Weapons and ammunition were seized in the search missions.
