The petition launched by Kongreya Star demanding an end to Turkey's aggravated isolation of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan continues. A committee of Kongra Star members visited the offices of the Syrian Democratic Council (MSD), TEV-DEM, and Newroz Culture Association.

The Kongra Star committee was composed of Welîda Botî and Mekiya Hiso, and carried out its first visit to the MSD center in Qamishlo. The committee was greeted by Henan Osman; the president of Newroz Culture Association, and Hikmet Hebîb and Rojîn Remo; members of the MSD Political Assembly.

'WE WILL ADVANCE ÖCALAN'S PROJECT'

Hebîb spoke during the meeting here, described the isolation of Öcalan as a crime against humanity, and said that they would support the campaign and advance Öcalan’s project of democratic life.

The committee then visited TEV-DEM and Newroz Culture Association offices, and was greeted by Cîhan Ferhad and Ebdulîlah Erebo. TEV-DEM officials described the petition as holy and announced their participation in it.

The petition demanding the end of Öcalan’s isolation also continues in Lebanon.
