Turkish police raided a wedding in Sancaktar Neighborhood of central Eyyübiye district of Urfa and detained 3 people by use of force.

Dozens of police on motorcycles raided the wedding on the grounds that a blank gun was fired in the air and attacked the participants of the wedding.

In the footage recorded by the people in the vicinity with their phones, it is seen that the police attacked the crowd and fired into the air. People reacting to the attack threw chairs at the police. Şükrü Kaya, Halil Kürkçü and an unidentified person were detained under torture.

Those who tried to take video footage with their phones were prevented by the police.

Urfa Bar Association announced that they would file a criminal complaint against the police.
