The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) and the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) election commissions will meet in Hewlêr today to discuss the election law.

In a statement, PUK Executive Board member Latif Nêrwe, said that the PUK hopes for a positive outcome from the meeting and strives for a clean and democratic election in the Kurdistan Region.

The meeting will be held in the Kurdistan Region Parliament and will be attended by Rêwaz Fayeq, Ziyad Cabbar and Rizgar Haci Heme from the PUK; Hêmin Hewrami, Zana Mela Xalid and Rêbwar Yelda from the KDP."

The PUK and KDP had previously met to talk about election law and commission work, but nothing came out of those meetings.
