PUK co-chair: We will not be a party to Kurdish civil war
During a meeting with military commanders of PUK, co-chair Lahor Şêx Cengî stressed that they would never be a party to Kurdish civil war.
Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) co-chair Lahor Şêx Cengi held a meeting with PUK’s Peshmerga General Command members in Qalachulan on Tuesday.
The security situation in the region was discussed during the meeting. Lahor Şêx Cengi pointed to “attempts pit the Kurds against each other” and condemned those “trying to disturb the security in South Kurdistan”.
Şêx Cengi stressed that they will never be a party to a Kurdish bloodshed at Kurdish hands.
