Rojava Asayish: Qamishlo attack targeted civilians
Rojava Asayish General Administration stated that the suicide attack that hit Qamishlo in the morning was conducted with a bomb-laden truck and targeted civilians.
Rojava Asayish General Administration has released a statement about the attack that hit the Xerbî neighborhood of Qamishlo at 09:25 this morning.
The Asayish General Administration offered condolences to the families of those killed in the attack, wished speedy recovery to all the wounded and vowed to avenge them.
Remarking that the attack targeted civilians as the scene is a busy area used by locals, the statement said a number of civilians lost their lives or got wounded in the attack, while the explosion also inflicted a great damage on the surroundings of the scene. The statement noted that asayish forces continue the rescue and search works in the area.
Rojava Asayish General Administration offered condolences to the people of Qamishlo and vowed to avenge the martyrs.
