On the 29th day of the siege and curfew in Nusaybin, state forces trying to enter neighborhoods have been pushed back each time they tried by the members of YPS as intense clashes have erupted once more.

Reports say 3 special operations policemen were wounded in the bomb attack that targeted an armored vehicle last night.

The popular resistance led by Civilian Defense Units YPS / YPS-JIN grows on the 29th day of the genocidal attacks. State forces have failed to enter the neighborhoods that are under serious attack for days and suffer losses against the YPS every time they try to infiltrate and have to retreat. Fırat, Abdulkadirpaşa, Yenişehir and Dicle neighborhoods were scene to intense clashes throughout yesterday and were hit by artillery, mortars and howitzers during the night.

Intense clashes between state forces trying to infiltrate the neighborhoods and YPS/YPS-JIN members in attacks focusing on Veysika Cemetery road, Çağçağ Avenue, the old Public Hospital and Station road lasted for hours yesterday evening. State forces were pushed back in the clashes.

3 SPECIAL OPERATIONS POLICEMEN WOUNDED

An armored vehicle trying to enter the areas of self-rule was targeted by an RPG attack last night. 3 special operations policemen were taken to Nusaybin Public Hospital with serious wounds as a result of the attack. The neighborhoods were remotely raked afterwards and attacked from a hilltop point.

HOUSES DEMOLISHED

State forces surrounding the neighborhoods from all sides have started demolishing houses again in the morning. All houses around the neighborhoods are being torn down and clashes erupt occasionally.

CLASHES CONTINUE

Attacks continue on the areas of self-rule in Zeynelabidin and Kışla neighborhoods. State forces fail to advance in these neighborhoods as well and resort to surrounding and shelling the houses from all sides. As the attacks intensify, clashes erupt between YPS members and state forces.
