Violent clashes between state forces and YPS and YPS-JIN members continue in Nusaybin as the curfew in the district enters its 28th day. Unable to advance, state forces sustain casualties and in turn burn civilians’ houses. After each defeat, state forces retreat and shell houses from strategic locations. Clashes are particularly violent in Fırat, Abdulkadirpaşa, Yenişehir, Dicle, Zeynelabidin and Kışla neighborhoods as well as Veysika cemetery, Çağçağ Avenue and the neighborhood of the old state hospital. YPS members prevent state forces from entering the neighborhoods of resistance where explosions occur frequently. Ambulances and armored crates are often seen around the neighborhoods of resistance.
