Manbij Military Council fighters liberated the strategic Al-Benawî neighborhood and took down a drone belonging to ISIS gangs on the 53rd day of Operation Martyr Commander Abu Leyla.

Al- Benawî neighborhood is located to the east of Al-Hezawne neighborhood, and was liberated after intense clashes with ISIS gang members.

Council fighters also took down a reconnaissance drone belonging to ISIS gangs, as they had done recently when the gangs attempted to use a drone with explosives on it to kill the fighters.
