Three-day mourning has been declared across Rojava (West) Kurdistan in the wake of the deadly bomb attack that shook the city of Qamishlo earlier today.
Rojava Cantons General Coordination released a written statement strongly condemning the truck bomb attack that hit Qamishlo's Xerbî neighborhood this morning.
The Coordination offered condolences to the families and relatives of those killed and wished speedy recovery to the wounded, declaring a three-day mourning across Rojava land.
The statement pointed out that ongoing heinous attacks targeting the civilian population aimed to obscure the success of the freedom struggle that began in Kobanê and extended up to Manbij, inflicting fatal blows on terror in Rojava, Northern Syria.
Rojava Cantons General Coordination also condemned those supporting terror, and stressed that these attacks would not obstruct their resistance but strengthen their will for struggle further.
