A latest artillery attack carried out by the Turkish army in Metina region of Medya Defense Zones has injured a civilian, according to RojNews, which cited Jiyan news site.
Headman of the village of Hiror, Omer Kamil reported that a resident named Heci Abdullah was injured in an artillery shooting by the Turkish army on July 7 while he was taking care of his garden.
Omer Kamil added that electricity in the village was also cut off due to the attack.
Local sources reported that continued attacks on the region caused damage to the properties and gardens of the villagers and fires broke out in some areas.
The Turkish army has been continuing its invasion attacks on Medya Defense Zones since April 23, targeting civilian settlements. Local sources state that the aim of the attacks is to evacuate the villages.
