The invading Turkish army has been shelling the villages of Mijê and Spindara since Thursday. The villages are located in the countryside of the Amadiya city in Duhok province.

According to the Esta news site, the bombardment of Turkey is still continuing. Both villages are only 5 kilometres away from Amadiya.

It is reported that fire broke out in forest areas as a result of the bombardment.

On Thursday, the same area had been bombed for several hours which led to the slaughter of at least 150 sheep belonging to the residents in the Dereșê village near Spindara.
