As many as 15 people have been detained as a result of house raids conducted by Turkish forces in Silvan amid a large scale military operation ongoing for 2 days.
As the curfew in more than 20 villages in Amed's Silvan district has entered its second day, the number of civilians detained in house raids by state forces since yesterday has risen to 15.
The house raids by Turkish state forces intensify mainly in the villages of Malaelîkê and Derika Miqûrê.
The detainees who include 4 women were taken to Silvan and then taken to Silvan Public Hospital to receive health reports last night.
As the siege of Turkish military in the villages under curfew continues, people suffering from health problems and diseases are denied access to hospital due to the curfew.
