Turkish forces set fire to the cemetery of Cizre massacre victims

Victims of the Cizre massacre murdered during the self-rule resistance continue to be targeted by Turkish state forces, the perpetrators.

Turkish state forces set fire to the Nalaru Cemetery where the graves of Cizre victims are located. The cemetery houses the graves of some 30 people including Mehmet Tunç, Sêvê Demir, Pakize Nayır and Fatma Uyar, leading figures among the victims.

Armored vehicles deployed on Çakır Söğüt Gendarmerie Command and Siirt road opened fire on the cemetery in Bahçelievler neighborhood of the Cizre district, which left the field in and around the graveyard burned.
